We’d be delighted to have you join us at our weekly meeting. We meet every Tuesday morning from 7:30 until 8:30 at the Pinewood Country Club, 405 Country Club Blvd. Y’all come for your make-up meeting, bring a flag from your club (and get one of ours), and experience some of our Southern hospitality!

Our Twentieth Annual Golf Classic will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012. Last year, the event, held at Oak Harbor Golf Course, had 56 golfers and netted $10,000 for local charities. Lunch and registration, 11 am - 1 pm. Tee time, 1 pm. Go to the Golf Classic tab for sponsorship and registration information.

We also have 50-50 raffles, sweet potato sales, and football pools during the year to generate revenue for our service projects.

Our July 4th Slidell Heritage Festival started the new Rotary Year with a bang, featuring fireworks, bands, arts & crafts, children's activites, and food. About 6,000 people attended. The event is a joint effort of local Rotary clubs, the City of Slidell, and the Times-Picayune newspaper. Proceeds support local charities. After Katrina: Rotary Stories from the Gulf Coast

A documentary on the restoration of Slidell, LA by the Slidell Northshore and Slidell Rotary Clubs following Katrina. Part of a DVD produced by RI that also features New Orleans and Pass Christian. Refer to the Projects tab for more information on specific projects.
