The Tenth Annual Slidell Heritage Festival on the Fourth of July 2007 was St. Tammany's family event of the year. 2007 was the best year ever, with larger attendance and greater concession sales than ever before. Joining us as presenters of the festival were The Times-Picayune and Slidell-Picayune newspapers, the City of Slidell, and our sister organization, the Rotary Club of Slidell. Slidell Memorial Hospital was our major sponsor. The festival proceeds were donated to Boy Scouts of America, STARC, Community Christian Concern, Habitat for Humanity, Rainbow Child Care Center, the Boys and Girls Club, and Northshore Disaster Recovery.
